I give this 3 stars, but it's probably 3.5 or possibly 4. For me personally it's a 3. There's about 20 or 30 designs here that they dissect into trends or compare it to other similiar design works. A lot of it is political in nature and the rest of it is pretty average design stuff. I found myself glancing over the pages, reading a few paragraphs on some of the more interesting designs, but hardly reading it cover to cover. It probably isn't worth the 40 dollar asking price in my opinion.I notice I have a lot of "probablys" in my review. I guess that is a testament in itself on the averageness of this book. It has some nice designs and it's neat to see it dissected and to learn more about trends that go behind it, but I could easily find that stuff online. At the price you could get 2 design books and be better off. If I had to purchase again I'd probably pass. Probably.
